KeyCreator Drafting Line Perpendicular and Tangent

Use this feature to create a line perpendicular to the first selected entity and tangent to the second. Only one entity, however, can be a point. If the points of perpendicularity and tangency are coincident, an error message will appear.

Using the Function:
  1. Select Perpendicular and Tangent from the Curve>Line>Perpendicular Ribbon area.

  2. Select the first entity, near the point of perpendicularity.

  3. Select the second entity, near the point of tangency. When Line Limits are set to Function, the line is created with the points of perpendicularity and tangency as its end points. When Line Limits are set to Viewport, the line passes through the points of perpendicularity and tangency, and extends to the viewport limits.
