The Feature Control Frame allows you to easily create various geometric tolerancing symbols based on ASME Y14.5M-1994, or ISO 5459-1981 standards. You may also create ANSI or ISO based datums.

The Available Standards

ASME Y14.5M - 1994 - Released in March of 1994, this standard is intended to replace the ANSI Y14.5 - 1982 standard. The general focus of the new specification is to comply almost entirely with ISO specifications.

ISO 5459 - 1981 - Selecting ISO standards as your global Detail Standard in the global Configuration dialog box will modify either of the other two standards to include features specific to this ISO standard.
