Use the Break File Link feature to break the connection between a File Linked note and the file. After performing this operation, the note will no longer update the contents from the file and will behave as a Key-In note.

Using the Function:

1. Select Break Link from the Detail>Annotation>More Ribbon area.

2. Select the note entities you wish to break.
