KeyCreator Drafting Slicing Plane

This function allows you to extract a slice from a model. This is accomplished by allowing you to create two parallel cutting planes on a model and the ability to specify the distance between them. (Only one is displayed in the viewport.) When you click Accept, the resulting slice of the model is created.

The Conversation Bar buttons used to create and position these cutting planes are similar to those for Cutting Plane except for the Tol (tolerance) button. You click this to display a field that allows you to specify the distance between the two parallel planes. The value you type can be either in the exponent form (for example, 1e-1) or an absolute value (for example, .1). The units of this value are the part units.
