Follow the steps below to import a PTC Creo (Pro/E) part file (*.PRT, *.PRT.*) or assembly file (*.ASM, *.ASM.*)

Importing a PTC Creo (Pro/E) File:

1. Select PTC Creo (Pro/E) from the File>Import submenu. The Select a PTC Creo (Pro/E) Part File or Assembly File to Import file dialog box appears. Through this dialog you are able to set import options and import a PTC Creo (Pro/E) part file or assembly file.

2. To import a file, browse for the specific file you intend to import, click on it (so that it appears under File name) and select Open.
