The Trim Modal function can be used to trim or extend multiple entities to an entity that you select. Trim Modal is similar to the Trim First function, in that by selecting several entities to trim you can perform multiple trimming with the same trimming entity.

Using the Function:

1. Select Modal from the Curve>Modify>Trim Ribbon area.

2. Select the entity to trim or extend all selected entities to.

3. Select any entity on the side that you want to keep. The entities you selected are trimmed or extended. The sides you select to keep remain.

4. If desired, continue to select entities to trim or extend.
