Use this feature to create running dimensions measured vertically from the same base point.

Using the Function:

1. Select Running Vertical from the Detail>Linear>Running Ribbone area.

2. Indicate a base position.

3. Indicate a witness line height. This position is used to calculate the witness and leader lines for the dimensions.

4. Indicate dimension positions.

5. The dimension text extends from the common base point to the position you chose. The dimension text appears next to the new position's witness line, at the witness line height selected in step 3.
