Use this feature to create parallel baseline dimensions measured from the same base position, parallel to the direction of the axis.

Using the Function:

1. Select Baseline Parallel from the Detail>Linear>Baseline Dimension Ribbon area.

2. Indicate the first position for the axis.

3. Indicate the second position for the axis.

4. Indicate a base position.

5. Indicate dimension position.

6. Indicate a position for the dimension text.

7. Indicate other dimension positions as needed.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you finish processing all of the dimensions.
