Use this feature to calculate the minimum distance between an indicated position and a geometric entity.

Using the Function:

1. Select Position to Entity from the Verify>Measure Ribbon area.

2. Indicate the position from which you want to measure.

3. Select an entity. The projected and actual distances are displayed.
