Creating Section Views

Follow the steps below to create a section view.

Using the Function:

1. Select Section View from the Detail Menu. The Section Viewdialog appears.

2. Configure the available dialog settings (these dialog pages are identical to those available for the Cutting Plane Line feature, with the addition of a Section View page). When finished, click OK.

3. If you have not already created cutting plane lines, you are prompted to select the cutting plane location now.

4. Select the first and second arrowhead locations.

5. Choose the Solids to be sectioned.

6. Select the location for the section view using one of the Position Menu options. The section view is created.
