Parallel through a Position

Use this feature to create a line, parallel to an existing line, through a position that you specify.

• In 2D construction mode, the line is created parallel to the projection of the reference line, and the line passes through the projection of the reference position.

• In 3D construction mode, the parallel line is created in the plane formed by the reference line and the reference position.

Using the Function:

1. Select Parallelthrough a Position from the Create>Line submenu.

2. Select an existing line as the reference for creating a parallel line.

3. Indicate a reference position for the parallel line to pass through.
