Select Entity

Location: Compare>Select Entities

Use this function to target specific entities (like face edges for example) for comparison.

Using this Function:

1. Choose Compare>Select Entities will open the file selection dialog to choose the Is/Was pair if not currently opened. Choose files and hit OK.

2. An entity selection conversation bar appears for selection of the Is; entities, once complete choose Accept and the same occurs for the Was (choose the assumed same entities) and choose Accept.

3. The entities will now be compared independent from the other entities that may exist within both files.
