Drilling Cycle Definition (Patterns)

Instead of selecting the hole centers from the geometric model, you are able to create hole patterns "on the fly" using the features available from the Patterns page of the Drilling Cycle Definition dialog. Through this page, you are able to view the creation process interactively, and preview the interim stages until you are satisfied with the outcome. Using this procedure, circles are created in the geometrical database, which represent the hole locations.

Three types of patterns can be created through this dialog: Grid, Circular and Linear. For each, you are required to specify X, Y and Z values in addition to other parameters. When done, select the CREATE AND VIEW button option to create and view the selected pattern.
