Using Assemblies
KeyCreator \ Assemblies \ Overview \ Using-Assemblies

KeyCreator contains the flexibility of true assemblies; allowing you to distribute parts, references and layouts across as many or as few files as you want. This gives you the ability to follow the same single file scheme as past releases, the typical single part per file method, or mix the two approaches. The new file type used is called a design file and uses the new .CKD extension.

The Assemblies functions are available from Assemblies pull-down menu, located in the Menu Bar (see the Part Reference Options segment for a graphic of the menu).
