Use the features available from the Path submenu to set the default parameters, define machining tools, select part geometry, and generate path info, among others, for the machining process. For in-depth coverage of each function within Machinist use the MachinistRefManual  .

NOTE: Once you have specified the default parameters, you will only need to make changes when and if the existing values are not appropriate for the current machining procedure.
