Notes

The Notes features are available from the Detail>Notes drop down.

Key In

The Key in Text function is used to type the actual text that will be displayed.

Label

Creates tags with leaders and arrows for your drawing.

Text Editor Symbols

Special symbols that are used in drafting are accessible from the Symbols button in the Create a New Note dialog box. 

Balloon

Hole Table

Import from Disk

Use the Import from Disk feature to import text from a file on a disk directly into a part file.

Export to File

This feature is used to save note text from an existing note to an ASCII text file, and supports notes created using the Key In and Import features.

File Link

The File Link feature can be used to create a note by importing an existing text file from a disk.

Break Link

Use the Break File Link feature to break the connection between a File Linked note and the file.

Auto Label

The Auto Label feature can be used to quickly apply labels to 2D feature objects (created using the Tools>Features functions) and solid holes, whether or not these were created using Tools>Features solids or standard solid functions.
