Compare PartsSelect the Compare Parts button to run a compare on 2 models. Report OptionsCompare report Options Tile PartsThis function will adjust the display of the compare files top to bottom for clear visualization during the Compare session. Write ReportOnce a comparison is complete the generated data can be saved to a specified report file. Read ReportOnce a report has been generated using Write Report it can be viewed using this function. Run ReportOnce a report has been generated (Compare>Write Report) this function loads the Options and files contained within and runs the comparison as set in the Options. Load ReportOnce a report has been written it can be loaded using Load Report. Save OptionsThe options seen in Tools>Options>Analyze, Analyze Options and Secondary Options can be saved for future use using this function. Load OptionsUse this function to load any previously saved options files which will populate the Tools>Options>Analyze Options and Secondary Options dialog. Check CertificationUse this function to determine if a compare sessions report file is still a certified document. BatchIf dealing with multiple 'Is'/'Was' comparisons use the Batch to manage the process from setting options to saving session reports. Orient CopyUse this function to move the display orientation of the 'Was' file in relation to the orientation of the 'Is' file. Select EntityUse this function to target specific entities (like face edges for example) for comparison. Save SessionWhen a compare session is completed it can then be saved for later retrieval. Load SessionOnce a session has been saved you can retrieve it using this function. DisplayA list of items relating to the Display help topic. Difference Results WindowOnce a Compare Parts has been performed the available results of the comparison are viewable in the various tabs of the Difference results Window. Assembly Results WindowThis tree is populated when the Tools>Options>Analysis Options is checked on for Assembly and a Compare Parts is performed. Examine ViewThis compare function uses a common view window between two files, overlapping the 'Was' and 'IS' files and synchronizes the view window between the two files. Synchronize ViewsThis function can be used when multiple parts are opened but are in differing displayed views. |
